Here is a current list of 11 organizing products I have used with a client or have purchased this month. These are some of my all time favorites!
1.) Simplify Magazine
I have had the opportunity to interview Joshua Becker two different times. He has an encouraging story about how he simplified his life. In addition to writing several books, he produces a digital publication, Simplify Magazine, designed to help families focus on the things that matter most. This month they have a special – just $20 for a lifetime subscription for you AND a friend! Check it out here.
2.) Drawer Dividers
These are the exact ones I use in dresser drawers.
These are the ones I love in kitchen drawers.
3.) Clear Plastic Bins
I love this size in pantries. It’s a little larger than a shoe box bin and has straight sides. Contain pasta, crackers, snack bars, grains, or whatever other categories you have.
This large one is great for memory bins, holiday storage, off-season storage, etc.
4.) Packing Cubes
Packing cubes help you stay organized while traveling. Use the cubes to keep outfits organized, toiletries together, shoes confined, etc. Store them in your suitcase when you are not traveling.
5.) Stuff ‘n Sit Stuffed Animal Holder
This is the coolest thing! If your child has a stuffed animal problem (which I know a lot that do) this storage “chair” will solve two issues. Stuff the animals your child can’t seem to get rid of in the cube and you instantly have a bean bag/ottoman your child can use to sit on!
6.) Label Maker
Everyone needs a label maker! This is a great Christmas or birthday gift to ask for. The more you label the more organized you, and your family, will be. This is the one I’ve used for over 10 years. Be sure to buy one that uses this tape. It doesn’t leave a residue and stays on perfectly for years.
7.) Office Storage Boxes
These are my favorite right now. When you have more shelving than drawers or files, use these storage boxes to contain stationary, photos, important papers, memorabilia, postage, batteries, etc. They’ll make your office look and feel put together. Label them and you’ll always know just where things are.
8.) Portable File Box
I love this one. You need one of these if:
- You have a high school student – Teach them how to keep their papers organized. Help them set up files for important papers like bills, car, transcripts, job, college, etc.
- You volunteer and need to keep papers organized, attend meetings, and eventually hand off to someone else.
- You don’t have a file drawer on the main floor. Use this for important household and family papers. Immediately process the mail and file here.
- You have a child that you are saving memorabilia for. Designate one hanging folder per year. Only keep what fits in the folder.
9.) Dashlane App
I use Dashlane to keep and organize my passwords.
10.) Handbag Organizer
If you love to change purses you need to have one of these! Just grab this out and transfer it to another purse. I love this one and this one is super inexpensive.
11.) Shelf Dividers
These work great to keep stacks of sweaters, jeans, leggings, tanks, etc. neatly folded and stacked on a shelf. Slide one of these on the shelf in between the piles.
Let me know which of these 11 you already use or decide to try for the first time.
