Transcript with time stamps:

[00:00:00] Lori: I feel very blessed that I found you on your podcast because I felt like I was very stuck. I had a lot of rooms that were overwhelming me and I feel like after I talked to you and I listened to some of your calls that I just didn’t feel like I had to do it all at once. Like I just started doing this drawer or that drawer and it started making me feel better.

Like I can do this. It’s going to take some time. But I feel with a group, you know, having support that I actually may be able to do it. Yeah, it’s safe. It’s like, because not everybody understands. Yeah. So it’s not, it’s not. It’s a blessing.

[00:00:44] Tracy Hoth: That was a testimony from Lori, who just joined Organized Life Academy less than a month ago.

I just think it’s so amazing. She already shared how her hope has been revived, I guess you would say. It was just so sweet. I just really wanted to share that with everyone. Thank you. Know that if you’re out there and you want to get organized, now is the time and this group is a safe place with other people doing the same thing, supporting you.

I’m there your whole journey and I want to invite you to join Organized Life Academy in 2025. Now is the best possible time, the best price you will get, and the links are all going to be in the show notes. You can go there to purchase Organized Life Academy for 2025, join, get in now, use the holiday time off that maybe you have to binge and get started and get acquainted with what’s going on in there.

Next we have Jessica on the podcast, another member who is going to share her journey and just what her thoughts were about herself being organized or disorganized and then what she’s done and the changes she’s made, things she’s learned about herself and her organizing and just things in general.

She actually is in both Organized Life Academy and Organized Life Academy. and Organized Coach Academy. Because of that, I put together a little special. If you have a business and you want to get organized in your home and life, you can get both of them at an amazing package combo deal. So get in there and let’s hear from Jessica.

No matter if you think you’re missing the organizing gene, have ADHD, or just love anything organizing, I’m here to help you become an organized coach with a business that works for you.

Pull up a seat and let’s get started. On one of our calls the other day in my Organized Life Academy call, Jessica, who’s our guest today, was in there and what she said. Just made me smile and made me so happy. It also made me realize, well, I don’t know, lots of stuff, but what she said was we were on the planning call and we do a planning call at the beginning of each month and she was on there and she said something like, I love this call, I prioritize this call and something about what she learned the, the month before about her plan or something.

I’m going to let her explain all that, but I just wanted. to have her on the podcast just to talk about like what she’s learning and what’s been making a difference and then share what she does too. Welcome, Jessica. Why don’t you introduce yourself and then we’ll get started with some questions.

[00:04:06] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: Thank you so much, Tracy, for having me on here today. My name is Jessica Trepon Bloom. I’m a health and wellness coach helping women who are struggling with weight regain. Helping them build that confidence and consistency needed in order for them to see success in their health for the long term. I am here with Tracy because when she invited me, thank you so much for this invitation, I feel honored and so excited.

I’ve learned so much from working with Tracy over the last six months and I’m super excited to continue on in 2025 and yeah, we’ll dive into what I learned from our planning.

[00:04:46] Tracy Hoth: You are one of a few, I have a few people. But. You are one that is in Organized Life Academy and also in Organized Coach Academy.

Let’s just start with first, uh, you know, what do you, what did, what made you want to join Get Organized? Like what drew you to that? I always love when people share about how they get organized. There is a ying and a yang. What does that mean? There’s a lot I’ve learned over the last six months just in accepting where I am and who I am in my organizational skills that I already currently have.

In a lot of areas in our life, like health and wellness, we don’t always give ourselves the credit necessary for all the work that we already are doing. I have very organized areas in my life and I have areas that are very not organized. And that’s why I’m here in the Life Academy is to help me with some of those areas in my life that still have not gotten to where I want them to be.

For example, when I moved into the home I live in now, I had the blessing to be able to move in and put things where they belonged until I got to the crunch time and then the rest of the stuff moved over and those are still in piles. Oh, yes. Many, many years later. Oh, years later.

[00:06:16] Tracy Hoth:  Yes. I’ve seen lots of people with that experience.

Yeah. Yeah. Then you found Organized Life Academy first. First, how’d you find me?

[00:06:31] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: I found you on your podcast. I am an avid podcast listener and algorithms are beautiful. They tend to send you things that you need or it could possibly have been fate. I had been asking God for a lot of things in my life to send into my life and I believe people come into your life for a reason. I think Tracy is here now in my life to help me with probably a lot more than just organizing.

[00:06:58] Tracy Hoth: Yeah, that’s so sweet. I love that. Do you think you searched or do you think it just came up like, listen to this one?

[00:07:08] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: I think it was a suggestion based on other, uh, podcasts that I had been listening to.

I really had not searched per se organizing, but as an entrepreneur, I’m looking for ways to streamline my business, to be organized in my time. It just came up as a, your five files of organization. I’m like, Ooh, I like to be organized. Let me check it out.  I would say for about six months I listened to your podcast.

Ooh, that’s good information. Where I reached out, you know, to kind of get to know you. I like that you share a little of your personal life on there to help me get to know you, that, that you would be someone that I would want to, you know, spend my time and invest my money into the support.  I implemented a lot based on the podcast and I found it very helpful.

So helpful for my business, for my personal life, which then made me realize that it was going to be a good investment to ask for help because I know that I can do it. But there are some areas that I know I need help with too. And so asking for help can help speed that along and Tracy seemed to be the perfect fit for that.

[00:08:26] Tracy Hoth: I guess a few people have said like they’re a little bit confused between Organized Coach Academy and Organized Life Academy. And I started out. In my business helping, you know, normal people, as I call them in their homes, getting organized. Then I developed Organized Life Academy and then the last couple of years, I’ve kind of added in, I don’t think I’ve shifted out of because I think it’s a whole person organization, but I’ve added in organizing coaches or small business owners.

As you listen to the podcast, did you, what made you join? Because did you join Organized Life Academy first? Yeah. And was it confusing, like, did you think, which one should I join, or did you think, I know I want this first?

[00:09:11] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: There was a sale, or a special, a promotion that you were offering, and I do honestly think I was confused.

But I’ll be honest, being in the life academy has been amazing. There are so many awesome ladies in there who are, you know, have learned so much from your life model and the thought process download and being able to. Own who you are, where you are, that it really is. It’s a whole life organization that you offer.

Then the added learnings in the coach academy has is more specifically focused for those who are in business. Wanting to organize their business because I have tons of amazing products that I have created and it’s very disorganized and it’s, it’s difficult to find some of those things. When you talked about having five files for everywhere, everything to go into, that was the first thing that I’d implemented for my business.

Having the Life Academy to help me with the, you know, cluttered closets and building some systems and more importantly, the maintenance after you organize it has been super helpful for that aspect of my life. But as a business owner, the business coaching. That you get from it and being around other entrepreneurs is very helpful because they are there to help us because we’re all here to help support each other in building our businesses.

I really appreciate and love the structure that comes along with your business, which is just things that I’m reaching for in my business too.

[00:10:48] Tracy Hoth: Love that. So. Let’s stay on Organized Life Academy because right now everybody hopefully knows, but let me remind them that I am launching Organized Life Academy for 2025 and it is a year long commitment.

I mean, you pay for the full year and tell me about what you’ve learned from that. Is there anything specific or measurable? Let’s start there.

[00:11:16] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: In the Organized Life Academy, having the scheduled meetings in advance is helpful because that lets me schedule around and so that I can be there because they’re important to me.

I found as we talked about at the start of our podcast here, that in our planning call last month, I shared my wins in the previous month, which was really realizing that I over plan and under deliver because I have skewed view of time. We want to accomplish all of these things, and then we are, we get upset with ourselves, or, you know, we put ourselves down or we make ourselves feel great when we don’t accomplish all of the things on our to do list.

Having a planning call with the Organized Life Academy has really helped me sit down and really look at the whole month. I’m fairly good at looking week to week, but sometimes you need to look out 30 days to 60 days, sometimes 90 days to understand and ask yourself realistic questions like, is that realistic to actually want to rehab your entire basement laundry room in an entire month?

I mean, probably not for everyone, but maybe it fits for some, but that was our focus. I realized that I was still working on a bathroom remodel and trying to get painting done. And even though the focus area was laundry room, it didn’t necessarily mean I had to overhaul and do all the projects that I wanted to do in that room just because it was that low.

I gave myself permission to do a little extra deep clean in there and be satisfied with a bad accomplishment and know that I can come back to that room to do other organizing and project work in there that I want to do at another time. And that’s perfectly fine.

[00:13:13] Tracy Hoth: Yes, that’s what it was that I was like, yes, because when we do our planning call, which we have a planning call every month.

We have a focus area, a declutter focus area, but I always, well, first we go through the organizing steps to plan our month. So we’re not only like planning the month, but we’re also embedding those steps in our brain. I walk people through that and everybody’s different. I love how you said, once we see what we have already on our calendar, then we make the decision about what parts of this declutter are we going to do?

Are we going to just keep focusing on what we focused on last time? You know, everybody plans their own month in it, in it, they all look differently. But yes, it’s about seeing what you have and then. I think it’s called fantasy planning. We don’t want to fantasy plan and, you know, bring ourself down and beat ourself up.

We want to be kind to our future self and plan something that we can celebrate that’s realistic, but also, you know, stretches us a little bit and moves us toward our goals. So yes, anything else that you have learned or gotten results from?

[00:14:29] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: Well, I like the structure of the application of all of your trainings.

One, you do a thorough review at every meeting of where to find things, that’s super helpful. I know that I can go there when it works for my schedule to work on a specific project. If you know  Christmas break’s coming up and you’re wanting to work a little bit more on your supply closet where all your Christmas organizing is going to be going.

I can easily go in and look at the closet organizing section and look for tips and tricks. When I go for a walk, I can listen to the podcast, and then I can come back to the house and implement things. I find that very helpful. I love the structure and the ease of finding all of the wonderful tools that you offer through your application.

[00:15:19] Tracy Hoth: Organized Life Academy is housed on Kajabi, and Kajabi has an amazing search feature, which I like. Now, I’ve tried to organize it as well as I can inside, so it’s, you know, we have past organizing products and areas of the home, and we have past mindset areas that we’ve studied. Which there’s so much, this will be my fifth year, so we have something, we have something for everything.

But, I love that it has that search feature, and you can search through it. You can also post and ask me, where did I see this? Some people do that and someone else right now had just messaged me and said, I’m working through the time module. So we have modules in there on time. And she was saying she’s learned so much in there.

Yes, as you go, and as you have free time, you can just jump in there and, and learn different things. So what are some of your wins? That you’ve had, you’ve, you’ve just been in Organized Life Academy for six months, right? I think I did a birthday special in June. Is that what happened? And then you joined in June?

[00:16:25] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: Yeah. I’ve been in Life Academy for six months and, you know, there’s been some months I’ve been able to fully jump in and then there’s other months, not so much, just based on my own personal schedule. And so again, giving myself that permission to focus on progress versus perfection, I My intention is to be on every call I’ve invested in myself.

I want that coaching, the coaching that you offer when we are feeling stuck on those calls is so helpful. And sometimes I’m not feeling necessarily stuck, but I’m able to share a win or I’m able to share something that has helped me over the last month. It’s a great collaboration and an opportunity to have that connection with other people who are working towards the same thing, which is just having an organized life.

It’s a beautiful space to share, even be vulnerable at times when we are struggling. Tracy’s just been amazing to support us in any way, um, as her being a life coach to support us in that way.

[00:17:26] Tracy Hoth: Yeah, it is interesting because we’ve coached on relationships and just anything and everything on our coaching calls that people want to bring to the call.

But one thing that I love about you, and I feel like it’s so, there’s a few people in there that come to almost every call. You are active, you come to the calls, you show up. I love that about you. How do you get that done? Like what’s your organizing process for your time? Tell us some tips.

[00:17:57] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: Well, I’ve learned from each class that I’ve, or each meeting that I’ve come to, you know, where to find the calendar.

That’s been super helpful. So it’s like once you know where to go to find the tools, it makes it easier to be able to plan it. So you learn the tools, you learn when it is, and then I can use the monthly planning To make sure that I include them on my calendar.

[00:18:21] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: There’s another feature in there that also where you can just link it to your calendar, which then it makes it even easier to already have it on your calendar.

I mean, there are the tools that I’ve learned have helped me stay more organized with having those meetings on my calendar. And then I’m able to, my flexible, my schedule is flexible enough that I can schedule around it to be on those calls.  I think the part that I love the most about it is just the connection, connecting with women who are wanting to focus in on the organization of their life.

There’s the accountability piece. You know, you’ve signed up for something you’ve invested in yourself. You go to the calls to be accountable to the actions that you’re going to take that week. It’s easy to stand in the background and not get anything out of it. But if I want something out of this, I’m going to show up, and that’s why I show up.

[00:19:15] Tracy Hoth: I agree. I think when I join something or invest in something, showing up is part of my It’s pushing me out of my comfort zone. It’s part of my own accountability and ownership over it. Even if I don’t have a question, I always find it valuable to show up and be there. It might bring up a question, it might bring up something I need help on.

Let me go back to when you said I review on the calls, a lot of times in programs that I’m in, I wish the person would just be like, okay, let’s go back in. I will show you around. Let me show you. It’s not like we spend a lot of time doing that, but I, I just need reminding once I join and kind of binge in the beginning, then I might forget all the stuff I learned in the very first day.

That, and then yes, during call times, I feel so professional that I know how to have a calendar for Organized Life Academy and Organized Coach Academy, and people can add those calls on their calendar. Going into 2025, just to let people know, the calls this year are going to be two during the day, one in the later afternoon, 3, And then, which I’m central time, so, and then one in the evening, because we have at least one person in Australia, and she’s like, the time is hard for me.

I like doing an evening and a later evening. After, late afternoon and evening call. That’s what we’re doing going into 2025. If there’s someone out there who’s like, well, I mean, I kinda, I want to get organized. That is a goal that I have. What would you say to her?

[00:20:56] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: I would say, jump on in. Because Tracy is going to be there to give you a helping, supportive hand.

It’s not giving up all of your time, it’s putting in the time that you’re willing to invest in it. Know that you don’t have to put hours and hours into it at first or at this moment because everybody has different things going on at different points in their life. But it’s never too late to start and today is the perfect day to do it.

[00:21:21] Tracy Hoth: Love it. Also, in 2025, oh, you, this is what I was thinking, you haven’t been to the live event. We have a live event in April and you joined in June last year. I hope you get to come because you’re so active. I hope you get to come to the live event.

[00:21:41] Jessica Triphahn Blohm:  I’m planning on it.

[00:21:42] Tracy Hoth: Okay. Good. I know.

[00:21:44] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: I’m like a little jealous when I found out it was a little after the fact, I’m like, I’m not that far.

[00:21:48] Tracy Hoth: Yes. We had so much fun last year. That was our first live event and we’re going to do it again this year. Okay. Anything else you want to, you want to share? Well, let’s talk real quick about Organized Coach Academy.

When did you join Organized Coach Academy? I should have checked on this ahead of time, but did you wait a couple months or did you join pretty quickly?

[00:22:12] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: It was. My initial thought was to join the Coach Academy and I signed up for the Life Academy, but I was, I was still okay with it because I was getting so much value and they overlap in a way.

There was another special, I’m always a one for a deal. Me too. Because of that, it just, it made the most sense at that point in time to jump in and invest in my business – organizing my business. Like I said, I’ve used the podcast multiple times to implement ideas. Now I have the opportunity to ask Tracy questions where on the podcast, I don’t necessarily have that opportunity to do that.

We have work sessions, which are really great because sometimes just sitting down and doing some of the monotonous behind the scenes things. When you do, it’s that accountability. You show up and you’re accountable, but you have that, that space to ask questions. You have. Other people who have gone through other struggles associated with their business and being organized and not being able to find the things that they want when the person is there to make that purchase.

You’re like, where did my thing go?

[00:23:26] Tracy Hoth: Yeah. Speaking of Organized Coach Academy, this co working call is what I call it, the second call of the month. We are doing, I’m walking people through the 12 week year. That’s a book I’m studying because we’re going to implement that in Organized Life Academy. on our planning calls.

They say lack of information is not the problem. It’s that you lack an execution system. In our planning, we do plan, but I see where there’s a couple things we need to do differently so that we have an execution system. And I’m so excited. So we’re going to do that. I’m incorporating that into the planning.

Calls in Organized Life Academy, but this month, which is this afternoon, actually, our call for Organized Coach Academy, our co working call, we’re going to go through setting our 12-week year plan up kind of in our goal, with our goals, so I’m excited about that. Okay. We are getting excited. Because Jessica’s in both, I’m going to put together, I don’t have this right now, but I’m going to put together a combo package.

If anyone is interested, the link will be in the blog post in the show notes so that you can get both of them for 2025 if that’s of interest, or you can buy one or the other Organized Coach or Organized Life Academy. Okay, so tell us, Jessica, you are amazing. You show up, you are in the calls, you are dedicated, you get what you invest in.

I love all of that. I imagine that you’d be an amazing coach to work with. So how can people find you and how can they work with you?

[00:25:09] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: Thank you for your kind words, Tracy. You’re making me blush. I am currently on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok at @jessica.triphahn. I also have a free Facebook group for ladies, sorry gentlemen, if you’re listening, and it’s ladies only.

I’ll make sure to give Tracy that link so she can drop it in her note.

[00:25:33] Tracy Hoth: Yes, well, and you have a Challenge coming up, right? Starting in January. That’s true. Tell us about that.

[00:25:40] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: Yes. New year, six-week challenge. So if you’re not quite sure, you don’t know a lot about Jessica just yet. You’re just getting to know her.

Jump in for six weeks and start your fitness routine. We work on fitness where you are. We work on nutrition, where you are, and then we work on that accountability piece. So sometimes you just need that extra helping hand to get us going, get us started, a little cheerleader, and or I can be your drill sergeant – whatever you need.

[00:26:07] Tracy Hoth: Oh, I love the options. We tell you which one to be. That’s so cool. Well, thank you so much. Is there anything we forgot that you want to say?

[00:26:15] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: Working with women in their health and their wellness is just like being organized. If you have been struggling with your health and your wellness, you may also be struggling with organizing in your life.

Really it comes down to having that organizing system for your meal planning to schedule your workouts, just like you would schedule, you know, your social time with your friends and your, you know, doctor’s appointments on your calendar. If you are struggling even to get. If you’re into your fitness routine and you need some coaching and support there, I’m here.

But Tracy is also a fantastic resource to help get your life organized so that you’re doing the things that you really want to, the things that are the most important and your priorities.

[00:27:01] Tracy Hoth: Yes, that is the goal, to create this space where we have time to do what we really want to do. I love it. Thank you so much for being here.

I do always relate. Organizing and, you know, health, weight, whatever. I work, I mean, relate the two of them together. They tie in so well, probably other areas too, but Jessica, thank you so much. Everybody go check out, join her challenge. If you’re listening to this after it came out live, do you run these challenges?

At other times of the year also, so they just need to go get on your email list and then you send out about that or what would you tell them to do?

[00:27:44] Jessica Triphahn Blohm: I offer several six week challenges throughout the year to get a taste of what it’s like to be in Break the Cycle Wellness.

[00:27:49] Tracy Hoth: Break the Cycle. Love it.

[00:27:51] Tracy Hoth: Okay. Thanks, Jessica. Everybody have an amazing day. Wait, if you’re finding this podcast useful, you must check out the Organized Coach Academy.
